Vain 2 - An Explanation

Ok so last night one of my ex's was messaging me about my Gay Marriage entry. I'd sent her, and numerous others, a link to it, from this Blog, which I set up, purely for those types of posts. I cross posted this entry from LiveJournal to there. I think she thought it was specific to her that i'd written it. (If this observation was wrong, then i'm sorry, but it was how I observed the conversation). I had to convey otherwise. It didn't bother me that she might have thought this to be honest, I found it quite humerous that she might have done to be fair. Needless to say, I advised her it was about my general thoughts and observations, and wasn't specific to anyone in particular.

The nature of the post actually came about after a conversation with someone i'd not seen in a good couple of years, and was in relation to his current circumstances, as a way to try and make him realise that time is more important than money, for money can pay for the wedding, but time will help you to realise whether the money needs to be spent in the first place for that occasion, and if you discover it doesn't need to be spent after all, then time is saving you a great deal of money and heartache.

Of course today I got abuse from the ex! She kept texting me slating me for the entry, saying it was all about her, and that our wedding was only a fad in my eyes, etc etc etc. Of course this wasn't how I portrayed, or meant to portray our wedding. I probably left it open for interpretation, but was trying to convey that 'maybe' it was, but then 'maybe' it wasn't. Needless to say she's given me hell for it today, which is all I needed!!!

This is the reason for my last post 'Vain'. Some people seem to think that every post I write is about them. This isn't the case! Just because you know me, and I know you, doesn't mean everything I write is about you! It's about ME and MY thoughts and feelings, about MY theories and beliefs. If people want to think i'm singling them out, and writing purely about them? Then they have some serious issues that need to be resolved, like EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD ISN'T ABOUT YOU, AND THE WORLD DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND YOU!
